Video games: can people make more empathy in real life?

In the article it is debated whether videogames can be used to make people more empathetic, those who make the article are against it because they think that to generate empathy human treatment is necessary and analyze how beneficial it is for the industry how well it would be to develop this type of videogames, as in the case of Anna Anthropy, a transgender woman, I create a video game in which it makes players understand the process in which she faced, in the video game there is no extraordinary challenge or any identity.
